SC&P Analyst I
Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for support of contract performance optimization, contract compliance, and systematic updates coordinated with the network services team with a focus on Generic MAC management.
Work Location Requirement
This position is hybrid and requires regular onsite presence at either our Lakeland, FL office. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of one of these locations. This is not a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides financial oversight and analytical support for pharmacy network contracting, procurement activities, and product/program management.
- Performs a book of business and client/pharmacy-level analyses to maximize the aggregate performance of WellDyne’s Maximum Allowable Cost (MAC) strategic lists while complying with applicable regulations and contractual obligations.
- Develop custom reports where required for all aspects of supply chain activity.
- Supports functional and organizational initiatives as required.
- Analyzes claim pricing and manipulates large sets of data through SQL queries and Excel formulas.
- Determines drug pricing based on acquisition cost, market pricing, PAC Tools (Predictive Acquisition Cost), and Medicaid government level – Health Care Finance Administration (HCFA) – price analysis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with a concentration in finance, statistics, or economics.
- 3+ years’ experience in financial and business analytics.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have excellent knowledge of PBM functions including claim adjudication, network contracting and procurement.
- Skills in performing detailed and complex numerical computations and reports.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling.
- High proficiency in Excel required (Detailed experience of all Lookup, and Logic formulas required).
- Experienced in use of SQL and/or Tableau preferred
- The ability to communicate with all levels of people in a manner which illustrates professionalism.
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, organized and possess strong time management skills.
- Must be able to work independently as well as support and contribute to team goals.

Work Environment / Physical Demands
This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard phone equipment.
